6 Favourite Blushes!

Whilst im jumping on the list of favourites bandwagon I thought I would share with you my 6 favourite Blushes, so without further ado...

Top row from left to right:

1. Pupa velvety Baked Blush in 08 - I bought this in duty free when I was in Italy over the summer on impulse because I liked the gold vein running through it and wasn't really expecting too much from it but I love it, it gives a pretty natural glow.

2. MAC Blushcreme Pearl in Sweet William - This looks fabulous with a tan on its own but day to day I tend to wear it underneath the Pupa blush, it gives it a bit more intensity and really lengthens the lasting time of any powder blush!

3. MAC Blushcreme Pearl in Blossoming - this is great for a natural peachy glow I use it soo much!

Bottom row from left to right:

1. MAC Sheertone Blush in Blushbaby - this was reconmended to me by a friend but when I went into the MAC store it really didn't look like my sorta thing however my favourite MAC makeup artist talked me into buying it, promising me I would love it once I got home and gosh was she right! This blush is magical it looks so natural and non made up and manages to make my cheeks glow without any sparkle!

2. NARS Orgasm - this blush seems to divide beauty lovers like no other but for me it really lives up to the hype! When I first bought this blush about a year or so ago I wore nothing else for weeks and im so fickle thats quite an achievement :)

3. Christian Dior Night Diamond Allover Diamond Dust in 002 - OK I know this is technically a highlighter but any excuse to spread the love about this GORGEOUS product! I also know the price (£45 UK) is excessive and I must have more money than sense (and I really dont have much money so lord help me!) but this is easily the most beautiful highligher/blush I have ever had the pleasure of applying to my skin. The powder is so finely milled without a hint of chunky glitter it almost looks like my cheek bones are glowing from the inside!

Hope everyone is well and getting their thinking caps on for what beauty goodies to ask santa to bring, I certainly am :)

6 Favourite lip products

Heyy,

So I totally wasn't tagged in this but im doing it anyway!!

My top 6 are (from left to right):

1. MAC Viva Glam VI
2. MAC Cult Fave (from fafi)
3. Chanel Glossimer in Scintillance
4. Chanel Glossimer in Volage
5. Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick in 34 Evocation
6. Estee Lauder Hydra lustre lipstick in Pink Champagne

Ok so I know these all look really similar in the photograph but hey I know what looks good on me haha!

I have been wearing the 2 Chanel glosses for years and have bought them both again and again, something which is pretty rare for a makeup adict like myself, I love how they give a good coverage as well as high shine and as far as lip glosses go they last pretty well. However if I had to pick one of these products above all to take on a desert island it would have to be MAC's cult fave, I am sooo glad I bought a backup of this it is such a pretty colour and doesn't leave my lips dried out at all :) yey for MAC!

So I have to tag my lovely subscriber on this StyleVixenMUA - this girls blog is great, honest and down to earth - one of my new faves :)

Chanel Levres Scintillantes in Volage

Ok I admit it, I have a little problem with lip glosses...OK its more of an obsession than a problem in that I just dont seem to be able to stop myself from buying them! Whats worse is that every one I buy seems to be some variation on frosted baby pink but this time its special!!

A couple of days ago I purchased a Chanel glossimer lip gloss in the colour Volage and I have fallen head over heels! It is a gorgeous thick consistancy so it lasts pretty well on the lips and has an almost lipstick like coverage, and the colour ooohh the colour, its a perfect baby pink with a high shine and a very light shimmer running through.

When I bought the gloss I intended to use it only on its own without lipstick underneath as I thought it would be too thick in consistancy to work with a lipstick but I tried it today teamed with a lovely Estee Lauder lipstick which I got free with a gift with purchase called Pink Champagne and it really enhanced both the colour and the lasting power!

In short a big thumbs up for this gorgeous Chanel gloss :D

Im loving : Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation!

So I have to talk about the latest foundation I have fallen in love with, the clue is in the title, yes its Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation - I think this may turn into a long term relationship!

I have always loved Chanel foundations and have never really put much thought into changing because I was always really happy with the result I got with them but recently my skin has been incredibly oily and my usual Teint Innocence compact foundation by Chanel just wasn't lasting through the day. I have always heard people reconmending Double Wear but not being a big fan of Lauder have never thought about trying it out for myself, however I had a chat to the Lauder consultant who said it was a great foundation for us oily girls and kindly gave me a little sample.

When I first put it on it felt a little powdery and heavy but it blended in well and left a pretty natural effect. The main test however was a day in work under the harsh lights and without constant access to my beloved MAC blot powder. I was amazed that when I took my lunch break around 5 hours after I applied my makeup, it looked freshly applied without even a hint of oil coming through! I even tried it the next day when I was out and about shopping and it rose to the challenge of varying temperatures! I rushed out and bought it yesterday and I have to say at £22.50 its worth every penny!
